I can't answer questions about the device's capability. But if you're asking whether or not it is possible to change patches on a sound module in the middle of a song in BIAB, the answer is yes. This would be accomplished by embedding Midi CC program change commands in the song at the place where you want the patch to change But it sounds like you want to use the pedal to change patches as a completely stand-alone solution. Whether or not that is possible may be a question for the Solton user group. But, it's worth noting that most sound modules can use MIDI foot pedals to change patches.
SOLTON MS100 76 keys, full size, with aftertouch. I am selling. Whilst it includes full operation manual, you can download a pdf copy here /Manuals/MS100.pdf. Electronics service manual exchange: schematics, datasheets, diagrams, repairs, schema, service manuals, eeprom bins, pcb as well as service mode entry, make to.
Usually, foot pedals will let you scroll through the patches in order. Setting it up so the pedal jumps to a specific patch may require changing the patch order or other device programming.
I know this isn't a very helpful reply, but this isn't a question that is easily answered in a forum. #296050 - 05/20/15 05:43 AM Off-Topic Re: Solton MS 40 question. Hi Benni, I haven't used the MS-40, but I've seen a few sites selling them that indicate the sounds can be edited. '128 USER VOICES The 256 Internal Voices of the MS 40 can be edited by means of the Attack, Decay, Release, Cut Off, Resonance, Tune, Octave and Modulation parameters. The User Voices can be memorized in 128 internal memory locations or saved on Disk, and when in the PLAY mode perform in exactly the same way as the Standard Preset Voices, providing alternative sounds for the making of new Programs or Patterns/ Styles.' I haven't been able to find a manual online, but I'm thinking you'd start by pressing the Edit Voice button near the top of the device.

With the release of the 64 bit version of 2019 for Windows, you now have access to all the 64 bit synths and plugins out there. And many of them are available for free. For example, there is a great MIDI GM synth available, the Roland TTS-1. This is available free from Cakewalk by BandLab. You install the free version of Cakewalk, and this installs the TTS-1, which is then available to any program that supports 64bit DXi, like Band-in-a-Box 64.
After you’ve installed Cakewalk, inside Band-in-a-Box 64 bit, choose the TTS-1 from the list of available synths (accessed by pressing the DXi/VST button inside the main menu- options - midi driver dialog). There are 3 benefits to installing and using the TTS-1 and Cakewalk. Great sound with Band-in-a-Box - likely better than any MIDI sound you’ve heard before with Band-in-a-Box.
The TTS-1 is from Roland and has great sounds, and based on the famous Sound Canvas sounds. That means the sounds are balanced to sound great with existing MIDI styles in Band-in-a-Box, because we’ve always made our styles using the Roland Sound Canvas. Better CPU Performance. The TTS-1 has lower overhead than many synths. It is especially useful if you have lots of programs and processes running, because it doesn’t use much CPU. Cakewalk is a fabulous DAW, considered by many to be the best DAW available. Getting it for free is a no-brainer.
Hi, Arty-i 'm going to basically copy what I just said elsewhere/. You need BOTH weighted controller for piano articulation, and semi- or unweighted keys for good synth and other instrument articulation. I find it almost impossible to get a smooth string or pad bed with my weighted controller, but equally difficult to get that 'acoustic-piano ' feel on a synth keyboard. My favorite keyboard for synth FEEL was the Rolad D70. Felt like oil-damped, kept back-pressure on the fingertip all the way down. But minimal controllers. My favorite 'controller-based ' keyboard is the Kurzweil 2500/2600.
TWO ribbon controllers, 8 assignable sliders, 10 assignable switches, built-in breath controller port, 2 pedal ins plus mod wheel and PB wheel. (It COULD use more foot controllers in, but still, Forking AMAZING!) Not cheap, but you can do as much as is currently ossible one one keyboard-based controller. If you like piano action, get the 88-key 2500X, else one of the smaller ones. It 's also a good sample player, if you need more sample options you have to get those add-ons, though, so if you want to start off less expensive and add on later, you MUST get the 2600, NOT the 2500.
26 lets YOU do the adding on, 2500 has to go to a service center. Hi Dasher, Sorry for the delay, Thanks for the reply, While I liked Kurzweil 2500/2600 or Roland D70 I 'm pretty limited to this one because of budged resons. It has 76 semi-weighted keys with 4 dynamic curves, Aftertouch, 2 Modulation and Pitch Bend Wheels. And that concludes it 's contollers available to gigastudio. Since gigastudio isn 't using aftertouch (mentioned in one of the recents posts) I will just have 76 keys and one modwhell So, can you say that is this keybard ok to get for use with gigastudio? Thanks in advance.
